Polishing and Quality Control Training
Our Senior Expert Viktor Öcal focused on “Quality Control”, the most important step in jewellery production, in the Polishing & Quality Control training held on 20-24 June 2022. During the training, the participants gained experience in Quality Control while increasing their competence in Polishing.

19 August
Hand-Design Training
The Hand Design Training given by Maria Grazia Rodi, Senior Expert and Designer from the European Design Institute Milano, was held between 08-19 August. At the end of the 10-day training, the participants turned their designs into collections and the training ended with the presentation of participation certificates.

3D Modelling Training
The training given by 3D Modelling trainer, Senior Expert Mehmet Pekin was held between 1-5 August with the participation of SME representatives. As a result of the training, in which the design process and different drawing techniques were explained practically, the participants improved their jewellery design capacities and created original and modern designs.

Semi Precious Stone Cutting Training
Semi-Precious Stone Cutting Training given by our Senior Specialist Viktor Öcal was held on 25-29 July 2022. In the training, the participants completed the practical training by examining the Carving Method in detail.
Jewelry Technology
The 3D Modelling Centre is provided with “state-of-the-art” technologies and equipment that allow for authentic design and end products (3D printers and scanners, laser and stone engraving machinery and equipment for design and manufacturing, etc.), enabling the industry to step up with manufacturing and thus to improve exports with specific models that will satisfy the fashion and trends abroad and support product diversity and market share.
Furthermore the GemLab and the Assay Office are achieving the necessary proficiency to analyse and certify precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones with their respective high technology equipment.

The Mission of the Kahramanmaraş Gold and Jewellery Centre is to help strengthen the tailored services as training, modeling, networking, mentoring, product design and development capacities of local SMEs in Kahramanmaraş Region and to increase the level of global value chain.
